The very best breakfast, wildlife style
BUSH BREAKFAST
The bush breakfast is one of the most classic safari activities and an experience not to be missed. Typically guests wake up very early in the morning with a cup of tea, after which they leave the camp in their private 4X4 Land Cruiser to go to the breakfast site.
Upon arrival, you will find a glass of cold sparkling wine and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice to welcome you. You can then sit down, relax, appreciate the environment and enjoy a spectacular English breakfast. Our chef will prepare whatever you’d like for breakfast, offering sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and toast. Even live music can be arranged.
After breakfast, you can either go back to your accommodation or continue your adventure and start your game drive for that day.
BUSH DINNER

An African dinner underneath the stars
They say that everything tastes better outdoors and this is even truer when you enjoy your meal in the middle of the African savannah. Enjoy the beautiful African landscapes while savoring a dinner that will surpass your expectations.
If you like to have dinner outside, but prefer to remain closer to the camp grounds, you can choose to dine underneath the stars by candlelight yet in a quiet corner of the camp grounds. As a desert, there will be singing, dancing and drinks by the fireplace.
SUNDOWNER

Enjoy the magical sunsets of Africa
Sundowners are an essential part of safari life and date back to the time of the great safaris of the 1920s. The concept is simple and consists of having a drink and some snacks in the middle of the savannah while admiring the sunset.
Your adventure will begin with a gentle journey to a picturesque place. Chairs, lamps, a fire and a snack bar will already have been installed. Music entertainment can also be provided. You will enjoy the safari ritual with your favorite drink in your hand, while the sunset deepens gently around you and the sun slowly sinks into a classic safari landscape. The nocturnal sounds of the African bushes will slowly calm down as the species of the plains seek refuge for the night and the predators begin to prepare for their nocturnal hunting.
When contemplating the silence of the vast plains you might see a herd of majestic elephants, slowly heading towards a well of shining water. With baby elephants playing together and tangling up their trunks. And on another path, you might see a group of wildebeest, moving along the slope of the cliff towards the same liquid shelter. Here the little ones stick to their mothers. A glorious moment to savor, as nature develops in front of you.
WALKING SAFARI

Walk on the wild side: a safari on foot
When most people think about going on a safari, they see themselves driving through the savannah while sitting in a Land Cruiser 4x4, safe against any incident that might occur. Others, more adventurous types, dream of doing the safari on foot and to getting as close to nature as possible.
The goal of a walking safari is not to see as many animals as possible, but to experience nature in a more intense way and to feel part of it. As you’ll make our way through the tall grass, you’ll see the little details which are hard to see during a game drive: animal tracks, droppings, small plants and insects. It is a peaceful walk, quite demanding, yet at a comfortable pace. As if you were embarking on an energetic morning walk. You’ll hear the wind blowing through the trees and birds calling each other - things that you would typically not notice due to the sound of the vehicle's engine. Maybe two hours into the walking safari, you’ll find a river in the middle of a deep valley. Standing on the high banks, high above the water, you’ll spot an elephant. Then two, then three, then a whole pack. They silently head towards the river's edge, where babies are splashing water all around them and adult elephants are drinking water. You’ll sit and watch in amazement as these ancient creatures progress in their daily lives. And just as suddenly as they appeared, they will be going again, silently making their way back on the slippery banks of the river towards the mountain.
When you return to the camp, night might already be setting in. You’ll gather around the campfire, observe a perfect African sunset and talk about the sightings of the day. You didn't see a lion killing, nor a cheetah running through the grass, but boy did you have the privilege of sharing a magical moment with these elephants.
Walking safaris are beautiful experiences, definitely worth trying!
HORSE SAFARI

The passion for horses and safaris combined
Have you always had a passion for both horse back riding and wildlife in general? You can now realize your dream of combining both activities into one single adventure.
Imagine riding on a horse while watching large herds of wildebeest and zebras next to you as the sun begins to fall. Think of the level of excitement you will feel when your silent ride through the savannah’s horse trails will bring you next to a group of buffalos or next to a family of giraffes. You will savor the breathtaking landscapes all around you and get closer to the African wildlife then you have ever been.
* Please note that being an experienced rider is a requirement for this activity.
**Horseback riding has a minimum duration of one hour, but typically takes 2-3 hours. We also offer safaris that are completely done by horse, using specialized camps and riding daily.
BOAT SAFARI

The magic of nature seen from the water
Be prepared to spot hippos, swimming elephants, wild buffalos, lions, rhinos, monkeys, eagles, vultures, storks, kingfishers and many more animal species. On the banks of the African rivers, animals’ behavior will be different from what you will have experienced until that moment. The young ones will be excited to be playing on a playing ground, splashing water all around them, unaware any dangers that might be near to them. While the older animals will feel relieved to have found a way to satisfy their thirst, while being extremely attentive for any threats that might appear.
Boat safaris will allow you to see the wildlife from a different perspective. The water, acting as a natural barrier, will also let you come closer to some of the animals that are harder to see from a 4x4 Land Cruiser. Your boat safari will also feel calmer, quieter and more relaxing compared to the typical game drives, with many boats offering comfortable armchairs for you to sit in and savor the moment.
BALLOON SAFARI

An eagle eye’s view on the African plains
Experience the beauty of the African plains from an eagle eye’s perspective. Take off at dawn in a hot air balloon and float around with the wind. The balloon’s altitude will vary between 3 meters / 10 feet and 300 meters / 1,000 feet, offering you unique photographic opportunities and a totally new perspective.
Move your eyes across the panoramic plains and discover the fantastic features that unfold before you – the soft rolling hills, the bright rivers and the green meadows, all covered with Africa’s distinctive vegetation. Hidden throughout this beautiful terrain, you will see the giraffes feeding of the top of the leafy trees, elephants resting in the cool breeze, gazelles elegantly jumping around and hippos splashing water all around them. Keep investigating and you will see predators preparing for their next attack.
While navigating above the national reserve, you will witness the daily rituals of the wild animals in their natural habitat and the complexities of the reserve’s fragile ecosystem. A once in a lifetime experience to truly appreciate Africa.
* The hot air balloon flight lasts about an hour and is followed by a champagne and a full English breakfast.
FLYING SAFARI

Luxury and adventure from the air
A flying safari is the use of small airplanes to transfer you from one safari park to another. This allows you to travel in the most comfortable way and to save some valuable time, in order to see and do more on your vacation.
The best thing about flying from one place to another - apart from the speed and the comfort - is that you get an aerial perspective of the landscapes you are bound to explore. Expect spectacular views and the benefit of a better understanding of the terrain and the ecosystem you are going to explore.
The airplanes used on a flying safari are typically light aircraft that can transport up to 12 people. The ‘bush’ airstrips where you will be landing, will be located right in the middle of the parks you are going to visit. For travelers who feel nervous about flying, this might not be the best way to explore Africa. But for most safari travelers, a bush flight will definitely have an additional layer of excitement.
There also is the possibility to fly over specific areas, with the sole objective to get a nice aerial perspective of the area. In Tanzania for example, you could imagine flying over the Kilimanjaro or over Lake Natron to see Africa at its best.
COMMUNITY VISIT

Immerse yourself in an African tribe
Immerse yourself in the authentic culture of an East African tribe while visiting their traditional village. Find yourself in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the local life, while watching their daily rituals.
Most African tribes still have a semi-nomadic lifestyle and still adhere to many aspects of their traditional culture. The Masai for example used to move in a nomadic way with their flocks in search of abundant pastures. Although these days, they prefer to stay in the same place, they still are primarily shepherds. And their livestock continuous to play essential role within their culture and their way of life: a man's success is measured by the number of cows and offspring he has, while the cattle also serves as vital source of food.
Seeing the authentic Masai culture is a fascinating experience. Established as fierce warriors, their lively cultural dances, vibrant clothes and beautifully designed craftsmanship are recognized throughout the world.
TREKKING

Mountaineering at its best
Your holidays in Africa can be combined with or even exclusively dedicated to trekking and mountain climbing. The most popular option is Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa (5,895m). Located close to Amboseli, right on the border between Tanzania and Kenya, it offers some of the most incredible views of East Africa.
Fancying a somewhat lighter trekking and mountain climbing experience? Then Mount Kenya is another fabulous option to create truly memorable memories.
GAME VIEWING

The main act of the African adventure
A game drive is a truly magical adventure. You will head out into the African plains in a 4x4 car, in search of the world’s most beautiful wildlife. And while doing so, you will be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.
Don’t think animal sightings come easy though! Animals are often resting in the grass, sitting in a tree or are just far away. This turns a game drive into a fun discovery experience, in which you never know what you are going to encounter next, and in which you and your driver guide will need to come up with a “game plan” to encounter the animals you want to see.
For most people, the primary goal of their game drives will be to see all of the “Big Five”: the powerful lion, the graceful leopard, the proud rhino, the dangerous buffalo and the majestic elephant. But many other fascination species exist that will scare, delight, or amuse you.
CROSSINGS

Front row seats to see the Great Migration
If you are lucky enough to experience the greatest spectacle of nature, the wildebeest migration is a sight to behold. Each year, from July to November, more than two million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles embark on a cyclic movement through the Mara ecosystem to find the best grazing areas. Throughout their journey, these animals will face tremendous threats, cross rivers full of hungry crocodiles and get chased by a large number of other predators.
Seeing the Great Migration - and the river crossing in particular - is not always a given. If the Migration has moved or if it is delayed, you run the risk of missing it altogether. Maybe that makes the whole experience even more special and more rewarding. Because once you are lucky enough to be there, at the right place at the right moment, you know you are witnessing a natural marvel for which there is no equivalent on earth.
LUXURY SPA

Relaxing after a day of adventure
Don’t worry - going on a safari does not only involve adventure. Many accommodations also offer some of the best wellness centers on earth, with exquisite spa treatments, massages and yoga classes.
Imagine yourself after a full day in the savannah, all sweaty and tired. What else could you ever wish for than a delicious massage? You are undoubtedly in the best place in the world to disconnect, enjoy the clean air, the sound of the bird and the trees, and to give your body that much needed peace.
DIVING

An underwater safari sea after the savannah
If you are an all-out wildlife lover, this option is definitely for you.
Discovering animals in their natural habitat on land is amazing; but how about extending this experience into the sea? Africa is not only about savannas, deserts, deltas and rain forests. Its beaches, shores and riffs offer some of the most unique diving experience on the planet.
Surely, seeing a black-haired African lion will have a great impact on you. But what about the great white shark? The whale shark? Or a happy bunch of sea lions?
Ask us about the ideal countries for diving. There are a lot of options.
